Adam focuses his practice on franchise law. Adam serves as franchise and trial counsel to dozens of startup, emerging and established franchisors. Adam counsels businesses looking to expand through franchising, and he prepares Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and related documents necessary to franchise a business as well as trademark work. Adam also represents franchisees in dispute with their franchisors in state court, federal court, arbitration and through alternative dispute resolution. For prospective franchisees, Adam and his franchise team regularly conduct due diligence reviews of FDDs and assist franchisees with lease-related matters. Adam is an active member of the ABA Forum on Franchising and a recent speaker at the ABA Forum on Franchising Litigation/Alternative Dispute Resolution (LADR) CLE webinar on the impact that COVID-19 has had on force majeure clauses in franchising. Adam is the Managing Partner of the firm.
Joe has spent decades in the franchise industry as former in-house counsel to multiple South Florida franchise 
companies including startups. In 2007, Joe became out-of-house general counsel to franchise brands like Tropical Smoothie and Miami Subs among others. Joe specializes in transactional and corporate work with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, franchise document preparation, and trademark work. Joe is an active member of the ABA Forum on Franchising.
